Worldwide Reptile Super Survey
Collecting detailed information on the state of reptile keeping.
Project overview
The Worldwide Reptile Super Survey was a survey project from Responsible Reptile Keeping and The Federation of British Herpetologists. The survey was designed to collect detailed information on the state of reptile keeping worldwide, including the number of reptiles kept, the species kept, and the care provided to the animals.
The survey was conducted online and was open to reptile keepers of all levels of experience. The survey was promoted through social media, reptile forums, and reptile influencers to reach as many reptile keepers as possible.
The goal was to collect information to inform governments and conservation organizations in order to produce better legislation with regards to reptile keeping.
Project features
The Worldwide Reptile Super Survey featured an in-depth and dynamic question list, with detailed information collected from each response. We specifically designed the survey to be performant and optimised for large amounts of users inputting the data at the same time, given the reach and promotion of the survey.
So far, the survey has had 99.999% uptime, ensuring reliability for all users, in all nations.

The survey was accessible to all devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
